The Breath of God
Sunday Morning Message bu Our Worship Pastor Anthony Counts
The Breath of God Ezekiel 37:1-10
- I. The Man of God
Isn’t it interesting that God begins this restoration by using a man named Ezekiel?
A. God’s Man is Called
Success in God’s assignment is only achieved through the divine calling, equipping, and empowering of God.
B. God’s Man is Realistic
The very best we can do is surrender to the hand of God and allow Him to use us to bring life where there was once death.
C. God’s Man is Teachable
Concerning the possibility of life where there was death, as long as God knows, and I know that He knows, then I don’t have to know.
- II. The Word of God
Ezekiel’s first message to the bones was critical- “Hear the Word of the Lord”.
- A. It Demands to be Preached
I Cor. 1:21- For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching, to save them that believe.
- B. It Demands to be Heard
Ezekiel 37:4- Prophecy to these bones, and say to them, “O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!”.
- C. It Demands to be Believed
Romans 3:20-22- Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the law and the prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe.
